a bertino style vacation

well, we have made it to the cabins in minnesota. we left home monday and drove to madison wisconsin to stay the night with my sister and family. we intended to be there for 1 night, however, our luck never fails us, and dan ended up in the hospital in madison monday night into tuesday. he became extremely sick. dr thought it was his gall bladder, but those tests were fine. we stayed another night in madison, then left wed to travel the next 8 hours to lutsen. we are here and the weather is wonderful. I can hear the waves crashing in the backyard. dan still feels pretty bad but tries to do as much as he can. he's been napping lots and going to bed early, but isn't that what vacations for anyways? we have another week and a half left! the dog and cole are great!
