Sweet Present

For Coles 5th bday, my best friend and her family sent Cole his first childrens bible! I cannot tell you what this meant to us. Cole has been learning the bible stories this year in preschool and has loved them, and often asks many questions about Jesus and heaven. Particularly since we speak often of my dad being there. Up until this year, we prayed together at night, and irregularly attended church. Now that he is older his pre-K teacher tells us that he seems to enjoy bible story time more than any child in his class. THis makes me smile! So, I often tell Monica about Coles questions and thoughts on heaven, so her girls picked out the perfect Boy Warrior Bible. It tells the story in a "boy way" as he is a warrior! We read 3 stories the first night! Im so proud of him, and hope this is the beginning for him to follow in Jesus' footsteps. The book really lends itself to making good choices! Perfect for little boys! Thank you Stocks family for a life long gift!
