First Musical Debut!

SO today Coles preschool put on their christmas musical! We told the teacher a long time ago that he would probably be to embarrased to do it. However, over the last few weeks he has been singing the songs non stop at home! So we figured maybe he will! Well, he was fine sitting in the chapel, but when the teachers called them up, the tears began. "I dont want to mom!" After about 5 long minutes of me sitting on the stage with him, he finally became ok with it. I had told him to sit for just a second so I could go get my camera and when I got to the pew Dans mom said "here, give him a 20 and tell him he can buy a toy if he will do it!" So when I went back up I gave it to him and he put it in his pocket and sang! They did let me sit right in front to help him be ok! He and his best buddy isaak sat next to each other and did so good! I was so proud! The best was afterwards he asked dan,"Here dad, you can have this money to buy duck stuff." It melted my heart. Dan refused, so he told gigi she could have it back!

Hi Santa

Last year we saw 4 Santas. With me being a little slow this year, we saw Santa one time! Dans firehouse had thier annual family christmas part friday night. Its a nice time for all of the families to get together from all of the crews. Santa also made an apearance. Let me just tell you, Cole has NEVER been afraid of Santa. HE took off running and waving his hands at him! Then jumped right up on his lap and gave him the ten minute run down of all the gifts he wanted. It makes me cry every year!

Merry Christmas Card!

This year for outr Christmas card we decided to go with the theme, "We hope you get what you've been waiting for this year." We thought it was appropriate since we have ben waiting patiently for baby Emmy. Here are a few out takes of us getting pictures for the card!

Hang In There Emmy Lynn

On Thursday I had my 36 week checkup. This time Emmy cooperated on the NST and was perfect! I really think mornings are hard for her remain awakw after my blood pressure meds, we will see sinceI have a morning apt next week. Her ultrasounds was great. We didnt measure her this time. I think we do that again this week! She is still head down, and I am dilated to a 1 so far. I am having several braxton hicks contractions a day now. We are just praying so hard she can make it until after christmas! We want her to have her own special day!
My blood pressure decided Wed afternoon that it wanted to give me a reminder that I need to take it easy. I was lucky my mother in law was around to pick me up from school and being cole and I home, feed us, bathe cole and get us ready for bed since Dan was at work. My vision had gone nuts with the blood pressure! All is good now! I will update you after this frdays apt!

Emmy Update 35 weeks

I went for my weekly non stress test, ultrasound and dr apt today. Thanksgiving did me well, and I gained the 3 pounds back I had lost last week! Dern! That puts me at 26 pounds! Emmy did not want to cooperate on the NST, so I drank coffee, ate and she still would not react. She was very sleepy and didnt want to be active. I usually do not go in the morning for these, and now I know why. When I take my first dose of blood pressure medicine it makes me sleepy, and I think that it does the same for her. Finally after 45 minutes they pulled me off and did a "full biophysical." Yeah, thats what I said. It was a 30 minute ultrasound where they count a certain number of gross motor movements and fine motor movements. She passed with flying colors. I was just wondering what happened if she failed? The best part was when they zeroed in on her stomach and we watched her breathe for a while. So cool! I have not dilated as of yet which is fine....im praying for her to wait until after christmas to make her arrival!

The Jeddeloh's Come To Town

SInce my friends were throwing my shower Thanksgiving weekend, my sister and her family made it a trip! They got to come in on Wed and stay until Sunday. It was so cool they got to be here for both Thanksgiving and the shower. The kids of course had a blast. Cole adores his cousins...even though towards the end he is so exhausted he tells them to leave! ha! He literally doesnt speak to me unless its fro food or drink, otherwise he runs around with the girls. We had a great time! It was awesome weather so we got to spend one day at the park also!

Overwhlemed With Girliness

This past weekend 4 of my amazing friends threw me the cutest baby shower! I mean, adorable! I have never seen sp much girlie stuff in all my life. Gift after gift I opened were ribbons and bows and tutu's. The cake that was made was made to match her bedding, which it did to a T!I think I have like 10 outfit changes for the hospital! Of and of course....embroidery! Burp cloths, bibs, onsies, bows and bloomers all with her name on it! I jsut love it! I was so excited to see my friends and share this day with them! My sister and neices were able to come from Madison to be here too which made it very special! When Cole was born my sister threw me a shower and had at the time we all called Cole "Prince" so she had a huge plate made with a crown that said Welcome Prince Cole. All of my friends signed it and we have used it each year on his bbday. My sister did one this time too. It says "Welcome Captain Princess Emmy" since that is what COle calls her. I made it through the entire shower without crying until I began reading everyones notes on her plate and then I lost it. It just became so surreal that she is finally almost here! I waited 2 years to carry her and have felt her move now for almost 9 months. What a blessing and everyone at the shower had a part in helping me through the last 2 years.
