Water Play

Its officially time for water fun! We cleaned out coles pool today and let him and Hank the Tank go at it with a hose! Cole won, but Hank enjoyed himself! The sun and water wore Cole out quick. Its naptime and then off to Go Diego Live! Whew hew!

Baby Tessa Hudson is Here

Shes Here! baby Tessa arrived this evening via c-section weighing in at 8.6! She is very pink and has LOTS of rolls! Shes precious! She is very healthy! Heather tried for about 10 hours with no epidural and was in it for the long haul, but Tessa wasnt having that! Heather is doing great, just a bit disappointed she had to have drugs in the end. Jason is beaming and Isaak says they shouldnt keep her! Here are some pics of Tessa Louise Hudson!

More Yuck Weather with Added Fun

Mom and I woke up today and stared out at the rain and kept complaining how bad the weather ruined all our plans for the weekend. Then we decided to use the weather in our favor! So we decided to take Cole fishing! We went to Busch Wildlife and got some nightcrawlers and went fishing! Well, I was in charge of putting on the worms, and mom getting the fish off, and Cole reeling the line in so fast fish had to jump out of the water to get a bite! We did catch 2 fish. We also went on a search for turtles and found a small turtle and a snake. Cole had fun wading in the pond water and filling his bucket with it! So our weekend ended up pretty fun! Mom was so excited to go home and shower, and I was excited to get worm guts off my fingers!

Water Table Fun

Even at age 3 the water table is still so much fun for him! We had a peak of sun after the museum, so we decided after an early dinner, to let the boys enjoy a little water! They had a blast, and you could see the evilness as they began inching toward each others hair!

Train Museum

Well, Memorial weekend weather didnt cooperate with us! We had intended on spending lots of time at the pool, but with crazy strong storms and just breaks of sun, we had to change plans! We decided to visit wth Transportation Museum with mom, and Jason,Heather and Isaak. It was sooo neat! Cole was not ready to leave even after spending half a day there! You can see him and Isaak on the mini train, pulling the train whistle, and standing next to the engine, and even inside a tanker car!Sorry about the rag-a-muffin attire and hairdo, but we werent planning on going there!

Beautiful Night

Cole and I went over to The Hudsons for Jims 60th bday! It was such a gorgeous night tonight! Cole and Isaak got to play t-ball, ride bikes and hang out in the yard. It was a great night to relax outdoors with Heather and Jasons family. Hopefully the next time we see all the families together will be next week for Baby Tessas arrival!

Carni Junkies

So last night i was really in the mood for some Carnival time! So naturally I knew one was in town! So we took Cole and had a blast. Well, all except for the anxiety I had on the Ferris Wheel. Cole is such a dare devil like Dan and I am such a weenie! As you can see he is on the roller coaster by himself. HE even puts his hands up and screams! Sorry about the fat chins, but I was trying to take a shot of all of us on the ferris wheel and that's the only way it was gonna happen! In true "carni" fashin, the lady getting him off the motorcycle rides had to hold her cigarette in her mouth to unfasten him!

Staceys Engaged!

I am very happy to announce that my sister in law is now engaged! Dave proposed tonight! Cole was also very happy to ask Stacey if she got a ring. Then she asked "Did Dave get a necklace?" Not sure what is going on in his mind! I cant wait to go look at dresses wth her! Congrats Stace! We love you!

Moms All Together

Well, the Mothers Day celebration has come to an end....as I will cook dinner tonight! ha! No really, Mom and I and the family went over to Dans parents house for a relaxing brunch! It was nice to drink several mimosas and relax some! I am getting ready for my nappy! Dan bought me a GPS system for my car so my mom and I can enjoy a belated Mothers Day with my sister in Wisconsin in July. He wasnt sure mom, cole and I would get there without one! Hope you got to relax as well. Too bad the weather was TERRIBLE today!

Happy Mothers Day

Just wanted to wish all the mommies a Happy Mothers Day! I am so thankful that I am a mom to such an amazing little boy! There is no words to describe the happiness and of course frustrations that being a mom brings! Hopefully I am making as many memories for Cole as my mom made for my sister and I! Hope all the moms can do what THEY want to and relax a little bit! I will have pics to post later!

Good News

So Dan went to the Dr. on Monday for his re check! After 4 weeks of being on the 2 drugs, his t-cell lymphoma is back in remission! He now only has to do one drug and only once a day! yea! He goes back in 8 weeks to see how he does with less drugs! Yea good news!

The Birthday Continues

So since we made Coles birthday into a birthday weekend, on Saturday we took him bowling and played games. It was his frist time Cosmic Bowling. He had a blast! Then Sunday was the big Birthdat party! We had so much fun.....adults even more I think! We had it at Skyzone Sports/ Its basically like 15 trampolines connexted by mats. The walls are also trampolines. Needless to say, the kids and parents were pooped! We ended the night tonight with ice cream from Cold Stone. Whew...I am tried....turning in early tonight!

The Birthday Weekend Begins

So Colie woke up very excited about it being his bday! He waited so patiently staring at his presents that he asked if Santa brought waiting for Dan to get home from work. Dan showed up with lots of balloons and the wrapping paper frenzy began. He loved all of his presents from us and ran from toy to toy playing them all. We took him to Monkey Joes for some jumpin action, then Panera for his favorite lunch! And this is only day 1 of the birthday weekend!

Where Does Time Go?

Where does the time go? I am pondering this because I am in disbelief that my Colie is going to be 3 tomorrow! He fell asleep watching Scooby Doo in my bed. I have gone in several times tonight to stare at him. Hes such a little man now! I mean really, Scooby Doo. I remember when it was Baby Einstein! I cherish each day we have together, but it is so hard to watch your baby grow up! I can't wait to see what this year brings him! When he woke up this morning he said, "Mom, its my party today." I had to explain that his bday is tomorrow but his party is not until Sunday. I will be explaining that for 3 days! Dan and I are both taking off tomorrow to spend the day with him as we have done now for 3 years! Check back to see what his bday brings. In the meantime, here is his last night sleeping as a 2 year old!
