My Belly

Ok...so its really not a belly shot..but I am finally showing! We went to the dr two weeks ago and everything was great! The baby was stubborn with letting the doctor find it s heart beat, but finally gave in! We go back in 2 weeks to make sure all is healthy, and of course to find out what it is! Cole is still convinced its a girl, "captain princess." In fact only 3 people out of about 100 think its a boy. I am leaning toward boy but who knows! SOme names we like for girls are Hattie, Phoebe and Hazel. (none of those are dans picks), and for boys we like Tyson (Ty), Clay and Matteo. (Matayo)I will post in 2 weeks what it is!!!!

7 years already!

Dan and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Monday! We have been together for 13 years! We celebrated in Bertino fashion by going to the Poison concert that night with our close friends! It was the perfect night for us, becuse we LOVE poison and always haev the time of our life! This of course was my first totally sober poison concert! ha! Dan is my best friend in the world and I am so lucky to be with him! Jason loves taking all of the credit...but god knew who my soulmate was and made sure I found him. Who knew a Texas girl would end up here with him! Looking back on 7 years is insane! We have been through the good...graduations, jobs, new house, new cars, vacations..the bad..loss of my dad, dan getting cancer when I was 7 months pregnant, 3 days later being diagnosed with a second form of cancer, loss of grandparents....and teh beautiful...our precious Cole and another one on the way, and the ability to overcome it all! I count my blessings daily!

Teach Him Early

One night this week, I came home from work and picked up the house a little. God love Dan for having so much fun with Cole during the day while I work, but our definitions of picked up arent the same! But they sure have fun! Anyways...I got out the small vaccum to do the wood floors and Cole said, "I will do it mommy." No arguments here! He did a pretty good job and I was so glad to not have to!

Zoo Day for Cole and I

Last weekend I wanted to spend time with just Cole and I. Dan was working a 24 on saturday and since I had gone back to work, I felt like he and I hadnt really had quality time together. I asked him what he wanted to do and he said, "go to the zoo and see the stingrays." SO thats what we did! We had a great time! We petted (is that a word) the stingrays...well, cole did not like them after the first touch...way too slimey) so I petted them! Then we had lunch together and then saw the sea lion show. It was getting late but he was on a mission to see the main characters of Madagascar. SO we went all over the zoo looking for the hippos, lions, giraffes and zebras! Im so glad we spent the day together!

Always Good To See My Sister

On our way home from vacation we got to stop in Wisconsin to spend two days with my sister and her awesome family! We spend the first night and next day at the Kalahari resort in the Dells. It was so cool and HUGE! It had an indoor and outdoor massive waterpark! We actually preferred the indoor park best! Dan was excited to have waterslide parterners and cole was excited to have Maddy and Sofia to run all over with...and I was excited to see everyone and relax! COle moved up to the bigger waterslides too which was so fun to watch! The next day we went to my sisters house and spenf the evening and night there! I miss them so much and it is so nice to get to visit!Cole idolizes his cousins and has the best time!

LONG vacation

Ok...so we have been back a month, but I went right back to a new school year and finally just have a moment to sit down I feel like. Most of you have seen the photos via snapfish or facebook, so I will not post all 264. We had a wonderful time! It is fun to spend that time with our friends and just relax! The kids play outside and generally are so busy outside they dont have time to fight...usually if they did it was late in the cabin and they were plum tired! We did TONS of hiking and waterfall viewing! We went to a wold sanctuary that was amazing! I could go on and on, but basically, we are blessed to get to go with the Hudsons each year! Dan DID NOT even get sick or nearly drown, but cole did go through a window of the 100 yr old cabin head first and by the grace of god was not hurt!
