Right around the corner from our house is a new "Fall farm." This man and wife have a little farm wtih corn that they have made a maze out of. They have opened up the barns and things for people to come and see. They have a chicken coop, bran cats, cows, horses etc. We decided to go. It was so funny, becuase you just like walk up thier house and walk around the property. They also had a hay ride around like 3 acres. At the end of the hay ride he stops at the chicken coop and lets the kdis go gather the eggs. (cheap labor) Cole of course dropped one...no scrambled eggs today! ha! HE loved the barn cats the most. He sat onthe hay for quite a while playing with them! Mom and I laughed so hard when in front of everyone, he saw the male horses "thingy" hanging down and hollered "mom, hes trying to poop!"

Well, we had been to the apple orchard, so naturally it was pumpkin patch time...although it was 85 degrees! Well, the kids had fun anyways! They had a hay maze set up that Cole and Isaak loved, tehy would pop out and then diappear back in. Cole came out missing a shoe at one point! When it was time to move to the next part, they kept running back in the maze to escape us! Jason finally caught them! They loved riding in the barrel horse train, but of course, they had a train set up with halloween features and that won the prize for Cole!

When Dan first started as a firefighter, he was working in Webster Groves. He worked with a great group of guys, which had even better wives! ha! We all became great friends and then had children and they began playing together as well! Now most of the guys have moved to different departments and we dont get to see each other as much! The Tobeys decided to have the annual get together, but with all the guys being on different crews now at other places, only some of the guys could make it, but the wives came! The kids had so much fun playing together! It is funny how we were all just getting married when we met, and now all these kids! It was a great time! Thanks Kyle and Mollie!

After a day a the dells, we drove an hour to my sisters for Coles next surprise! He loves his cousins and Aunt Mooney so much..and of course Uncle Jiffy! Since my sister moved he doesnt get to see his ONLY cousins much so we knew he would be so excited! And of course he was! He ran through the door with them, and we only saw him when he needed to eat or take a bath! They play so great and he has the best time being with them! We went to the farmers market in Madison which they have in front of the capitol. Then we went to Mt. Horeb for the fall fest. This town is full of trolls...very weird! We had a blast at night sitting by the bonfire that they had just installed! Jeff and Dan watched football and Mindy and I drank wine and talked! It was a blast!

Since we Dan had taken the time off, and I was off for 3 weeks, we decided to surprise COle and take a 4 day road trip! We packed him up and told him we were going on a vacation! 6 hours later we made it to THe Dells! We booked a room at an indoor waterpark resort called the Wilderness Resort and Indoor Water Park! IT was sooo cool! It had 3 huge indoor waterparks, as well as a huge outdoor one that was closed for the season, a huge indoor climbing gym and arcade! HE was soo excited to pull up and see it! Wed spend the night and next day swimming and playing! It was so much fun! It was no Ft. Lauderdale but Cole smile was worth it! He did the tube slides with me and little sldes, water guns! What a ball!

Surprise Change!

Sorry it has taken me soo long to update! I was on my 3 week break from school and then went back and have had no time again..on top of m y computer crashing! So here is my attempt to catch everyone up on the family!
Most of you know Dan and I were supposed to spend 6 days with 6 other people in Ft. Lauderdale over my cycle break!We had our tickets and everything was ready...EXCEPT US! It all became a little much to handle (Cole having 3 different sitters, even though he is comfortable with all, 6 days with no cole,spent unexcpected money on a new car, and dan really having to leave work after 24 hours at work then go back the very next day, and of course, my fear of flying). We tried to change our tickets to go a shorter amount of time but it was more tho change the tickets then the tickets were worth. So, we had to let them go! I was really looking forward to being away with Dan and enjoying some time, but with my anxiety thigns just werent settled enough for me to do it! So instead.....we went to Wiconsin!

What a pain!

SOrry for no new posts lately! OUr computer crashed, so I had to upload some vacation pics onto my laptop, which is now not working wirelessly! UGH! Hopefully I will get it up and going in the next few days! Sorry!
